Grant it the narrowest scope a task needs, keep approval gates on for anything significant, and review what it produces before it ships anywhere. What does adoption cost each way?
Airtable AI presumes a workspace worth structuring, so the real cost is the process discipline that makes it useful; messy data starves it. Cowork comes included on paid Claude plans, but agent runs draw the plan's shared usage faster than chat, so delegation is a budgeted resource rather than an unlimited faucet.
Can they run the same operation together?
Comfortably, because they touch different layers. Airtable keeps the operational truth: records, statuses, approvals.
