How we review AI tools
Every recommendation in this guide follows three rules, stated here so you can hold us to them.
Even-handed
Every tool is assessed even-handedly: none is best for everyone, only better or worse for a specific job.
Dated facts
Tool facts carry a last checked date, because prices, plans and model versions change fast.
No sponsorship
Listings are editorial: no tool is sponsored or pays for its placement.
Those three rules are the summary. Here is how they work in practice.
How we review
Every tool in the guide is assessed the same way. We start from the job someone is actually trying to do, not the vendor's feature list, and work out what the tool is genuinely good at, who it suits, what it costs, and where it falls short. We put close alternatives side by side, because the useful question is rarely whether a tool is good, but whether it is the right one for you. Where a tool claims something that matters, such as a free tier, a price, a limit or a model, we check it rather than repeat it.
What sources we use
We rely on primary sources: the vendor's own pricing, documentation and product pages, read at the time we publish or update an entry, rather than second-hand summaries. When a claim is important and we cannot confirm it against a primary source, we say so or leave it out. We would rather be usefully cautious than confidently wrong.
How often we re-check
AI tools change fast: prices move, free tiers appear and disappear, models are renamed. Every entry carries the date we last checked it, shown on the page, so you can judge for yourself how current it is. We re-check entries when we learn of a change and on a rolling basis, and we update the dated facts when they move.
How corrections work
If we have got something wrong, we want to know. Email us at Support@agentarius.ai and we will check it against the source and correct it. Corrections to facts are made directly on the affected entry, and its last-checked date moves to reflect the update.
Independence and funding
We are independent. No company pays to be listed, ranked, or recommended, we run no sponsored placements, and we have no partnership or affiliate arrangements with any tool we cover. Nothing a vendor does buys a better verdict. What you read is our own assessment and nothing else.
