How much of Gemini's value is the integration?
Most of it, by its own framing: teams standardised outside Google lose most of the integration advantage, and admin controls follow Workspace licensing rather than personal choice. Judged purely as a chat assistant it is strong and has a genuinely capable free tier, but the reason to prefer it over an independent tool is almost entirely the surround.
Does Mistral Vibe connect to workplace tools at all?
Yes, and that is the part most readers underestimate. Connections to common workplace tools including email, calendars and Slack let it act on work rather than only discuss it, and it runs on web and mobile.
