Common questions
What does Copilot assume that Base44 does not?
An engineer and a repository. Copilot lives in editors and the GitHub workflow: someone writes code, weighs suggestions and merges pull requests. Base44 assumes neither, keeping the backend behind its own SDK so a builder never configures a server. That assumption decides the buyer: Copilot amplifies existing skill, Base44 substitutes for it.
A technical founder could go either way: which first?
Start from the deliverable. If proving the idea is the job and the code is disposable, Base44 gets a product in front of users fastest.
